During the tenure of my career, I’ve led campaigns and advocacy efforts that successfully shaped public opinion, passed progressive legislation, and helped elect values-aligned candidates at every level of government. I’m skilled at building political influence, momentum on critical issues, and designing both rapid response and multi-year strategies that are impactful and yield real results—even in hostile environments.

I’ve successfully advocated for minimum wage increases in Atlanta, Georgia and Birmingham, Alabama and developed and passed a first-of-its kind Reproductive Justice Commission in the city of Atlanta that resulted in the city providing a grant to fund the state’s only abortion fund in anticipation of Georgia’s six-week abortion ban. I also managed the field program for one of the first members of Black Lives Matter elected in the country. Most recently, I oversee multi-channel IE programs that have reached millions of voters nationally, including in battleground states—Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin.

With extensive experience in message testing, content ideation, copy editing, strategic communications, and ad development and deployment I lead efforts to increase reach and attain the awareness and visibility needed to drive compelling narratives and sustain social justice organizations.

With the Fight for $15 I supported fast food and childcare workers in VA, SC, NC, GA and AL to craft op-eds, public testimony, and otherwise leverage storytelling (online and earned media) to build the strength and visibility of the campaign. This storytelling was not only critical to the campaign’s success, but also in developing the leadership of workers, championing them as the “face” of the movement. 

With organizing roots in the South, I’m a coalition builder that has managed strategic partnerships on the local, state, national and international level. Throughout my career I’ve prioritized deep relationship stewardship, collaboration, equity-centered strategy and mutualism as the foundation for meaningful, long-term impact.

I’ve mobilized thousands during critical, high-stakes moments, built and sustained coalitions, developed organizing programs, and trained directly impacted communities—developing leaders who continue to organize and grow the movement today.

Working at the intersection of organizing, campaigning, fundraising, digital strategy, and communications; I not only understand the mechanics of how political, electoral, and advocacy programs operate—but also how to bring them into deeper alignment to maximize our collective impact and growth.

I’ve developed org-wide frameworks to deepen organizational effectiveness and facilitate cross-functional collaboration, operationalizing comprehensive strategies that yield tangible results.
